This hammer is great and quite versatile as you can move the back end of the hammer into a top, middle, and bottom position depending on what you are doing. What really gets me is how durable it is despite having a toggle in the middle. It works just like a regular hammer and is as heavy as one!Using the hammer is also quite comfortable with the shock absorbing grip. I have a regular wooden grip hammer and this one is less slippery. I really like how the grip looks and it is easy to spot the hammer. I also like the magnetic nail holder on the side that allows you to aim where you are going to place your nail. This hammer really does have a lot of great features and is pretty good! This was totally worth it and I am very happy with the purchase!
This Claw Hammer with Magnetic Nail Starter, Heavy-Duty Steel Framing Hammer with Shock-Absorbing Grip and Side Nail Puller for Construction, Roofing, and DIY Demolition is the MOST VERSATILE, DURABLE, AND MULTI-FUNCTIONAL TOOL that I have ever had the pleasure of using. It is crafted from premium drop-forged carbon steel for maximum durability and perfect balance. No more loose heads or broken handles. This is my most reliable and versatile hammer for heavy-duty tasks, and I enjoy using it very much. It feels good while using it, it is comfortable to hold in your hand, and is perfectly balanced without that top-heavy feel that I find distracting. The precision-milled straight claw and integrated side nail puller provide superior leverage for extracting stubborn nails with minimal effort. The handle is coated with a high-quality, anti-slip TPR rubber cushion that reduces hand and wrist fatigue, and provides comfortable and stable control. There is also a built-in magnetic nail holder to securely grip your nail for one-handed use, which makes your job faster, easier and safer. No more smashed fingers. This hammer features one-piece forged steel construction for balanced weight distribution thus ensuring that the weight feels balanced. I have had my share of wielding ungainly top-heavy hammers, and the unnecessary hand and wrist strain, pain and discomfort associated with them. This hammer is a pleasure to use!!!The rotating claw mechanism is an interesting feature that allows you to position the claw where it will give you the best angle. Once you press the button on the hammer head to unlock the claw, it can then be repositioned to multiple angles to give you the best leverage and then locked back into place. This is a valuable feature and that eliminates the need for a separate pry bar. You can do a lot with this one tool. This hammer worked splendidly for a recent dry-wall installation. Mr. Fix-It was thrilled with our new hammer. This hammer is an extremely unique, versatile and highly-functional addition to our tool collection. It is sturdy, durable, and easily the most comfortable hammer that we have ever used. I have never seen a hammer with so many great features. This is truly an impressive hammer!!! It is affordable and makes a great gift for any DIYer. This is definitely money well spent. Highly recommended.
Working good
My sons and I are building a shed and doing a lot of other construction, and we're very pleased with this hammer. When you take it out of the box be very careful though, because I was yanking too hard and caught this uncomfortably on my skin! But as for the design of it, this is genius! You press a button in on the hammerhead and you can modify it to several positions!I don't know why another reviewer didn't feel like this was a heavy enough hammer. I have another framing hammer and the length and weight is comparable, and we're very happy with this!My son went out to test this immediately and found it it held two nails easily to each side. We're very happy with the quality of this and the versatility of it and it feels comfortable in our hands! Thank you!
I didn't know hammers could come with so many features!I really like that this one can hold a nail with the magnets at the front, which makes positioning a nail much easier. The claw puller is also movable, so I can position it where it works best for the way the nail is sitting or whatever I'm trying to do.I did find the mechanism for moving the claw a little difficult to press into place. Once you get it into the right spot, though, the claw glides to the next position pretty easily.I also like the smaller nail removers on the sides for getting into tighter areas. The hammer itself is heavy and well balanced, and overall I really like how many useful features they've managed to incorporate into one tool.
This framing hammer is absolutely amazing and exceptionally durable! The solid, one piece forged steel construction feels incredibly heavy duty, giving you perfect balance and total peace of mind that the head will never get loose or shaky while you are working on a project. It is so well built and completely handles tough home repair tasks with ease. 🌸🛍️It is incredibly easy to use when working with nails. The built-in magnetic nail starter is such a handy, clever feature because it securely grips your nail so you can easily start it one handed without ever worrying about smashing your fingers. Another massive win for me is the dual puller setup. I was easily able to pull out stubborn and bent nails from wood without any trouble at all, meaning I didn't even need to go grab a separate pry bar to get the job done cleanly. 📐🙌The rubber cushion grip is super comfortable to hold for long periods of time and does a fantastic job absorbing all the strike shock and vibration so your wrists never feel sore. You are getting spectacular professional quality and an awesome value bundle for such an affordable price point. I am highly pleased with this hammer and definitely recommend keeping one in your home toolbox!
This is genuinely one of the best hammers I’ve ever used. I’m not someone who’s constantly doing home improvement projects, so I wasn’t expecting to have particularly strong feelings about a hammer, but this one seriously impressed me.The magnetic nail starter is such a convenient feature and makes getting a nail started much easier. The hammer itself has some real weight to it and feels extremely heavy-duty and substantial. The handle is comfortable to hold, and the grip feels secure, so even with the heavier weight, it’s easy to control while using it.The overall construction feels excellent. It’s sturdy, durable, and versatile enough for the different projects I’ve needed it for so far. Nothing about it feels flimsy or inexpensive, and it seems like the kind of tool that will last for years.Pros:* Extremely sturdy and heavy-duty* Convenient magnetic nail starter* Comfortable handle* Excellent grip* Durable construction* Versatile for different projects* Substantial weight* Excellent overall quality* Great value for the moneyOverall: I never thought I’d be this impressed by a hammer, but I love this thing. 😂 It feels incredibly well made, the magnetic nail starter is genuinely useful, and the weight and comfortable grip make it feel like a serious tool. Even as someone who isn’t big into home improvement, I can appreciate how good this is. Definitely recommend it.
This framing hammer is fantastic! It is very well-made, durable, and packed with versatile features like the magnetic nail starter and the handy side nail puller. It does have a little bit of weight to it, but that is expected with a heavy-duty steel hammer, and the non-slip grip feels very nice and helps handle the weight perfectly during use. It is highly effective for any outdoor project or quick repair, and I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a premium-quality tool.
I've been using a namebrand framing hammer, and a smaller hammer, for my regular work. If I needed a hard strike, I'd use the framing hammer. For more delicate work, the smaller hammer. This hammer essentially replaces the framing hammer, and I'll choose it for some finer work as well. For hard striking, this hammer is more comfortable than the framing hammer of similar weight. I think there's more weight in the head, less in the shaft, because of the shaft design that minimizes weight without sacrificing rigidity. I find my strikes come out a bit harder with this hammer. And it's more flexible in my hand, maybe better balanced, and the handle is definitely grippier. The rotating claw may be useful, although I haven't needed this feature yet. It does introduce a little bit of vibration as the claw shifts when I move the hammer to different angles, but it's slight and not bothersome. It doesn't affect the striking ability or accuracy of the hammer. For its balance and grippy handle, sometimes this is even easier to use than the smaller hammer for finer work. I like it a lot. And the price is very reasonable.
